Hammer Grinder in Oak

Hammer reflects a feeling and a sense of quality. The design is inspired by the Danish island of Bornholm and the nature around the old fortress of Hammershus. Twist the top to grind up pepper corns and salt flakes; and lift it up to refill the grinder.
Maintenance: As the wood is untreated, it may be affected by grease and colourants. For this reason, we recommend saturating the wood with soap or a suitable furniture oil to make it more resistant. If you wish to use soap or oil, use a suitable product. Be aware that the wood will change colour when applying soap or oil. Not suitable for dishwasher.

Maintenance: The teak has been treated with food safe oil to improve its resistance. Therefore, we recommend that you treat the wood at regular intervals with an oil — e.g. worktop oil — to preserve the glow and resistance. If the product is not oiled continuously, the surface may change colour over time and become silvery grey. Clean with soapy water and a soft brush right after usage. Not suitable for dishwasher.

Jobu products are constructed out of high-quality sailcloth — a natural material produced originally for sailboat sails in Kurashiki, Japan since the late Edo Period. It excels in durability and breathability and gains patina the longer it is used. Its tight weave realises a substantial expression and distinct texture to the touch.
The Jobu Oven Mitt is made out of two weights of sailcloth. The heavier canvas protects the fingers and the more flexible one comfortably covers your palm. The stitches that hold together the product are carefully chosen to enable a perfect fit and timeless design.
